Sophisticated search of rhymes in Russian poetry.

Linguists who study the poetical language will enjoy the sophisticated search of rhymes in Russian poetry included in Integrum databases. Let's suppose you would like to make a research on the poetry of Anna Ahmatova and to know how often she used the rhymed words "кровь" and "любовь" in her poems.

Step 1. Login

On the home page of www.integrumworld.com enter your login and password. Then click the button  “Sign in”. You will find yourself on the page with the list of the services available. Choose Russian or English language from the list.

Step 2. Entry into Artefact

Choose Artefact among other services. The following settings are installed in Artefact on default: searching profile “Advanced”, date range “One week”, databases “ Mass media”

Step 3. Query composing

In order to find the necessary rhyme you should use the search interface Typical query.

This interface was developed for those who regularly solve typical searching problems. The Slavonic scholars group contains queries intended to find rhymes consisting of all forms of a pair of words or of predefined forms.

Anna Ahmatova's works are situated in Library Collections (Библиотека Мировой Литературы). For analizing only the poetry of this author you must ckick Library Collection

In the following page you must unmark all databases clicking on the upper tick.

After that you must choose Anna Ahmatova and press the button "Go on!":

Click "Unselect all" and put the tick to the left of the Library Collection, enter the pair of rhymed words and press the button Search.

 

Step 4. Looking through the results.

Clicking Titles on the top left corner you will get the fragments of relevant documents.

In order to get the full poem you must click on its title.
